| TwinZ, both Z's, new DD and family are all fine after the earthquake. Thanks guys for worrying about us and thank god everything is fine and not considerable damages have happened to Lima. We were just picking up our new daily driver and were about to go outside the Suzuki's warehouse when everything started to shake. We didn't realize what was happening since we both were inside the car, but then people started screaming "earthquake" and we then saw everything in the warehouse shaking and it was very noicy...We were just a few feet away from the exit gate and the engine was on, so we decided righ there that we needed to save our new car, since everything looked like if it's going to fall on us...Very scary moment. When we were outside the warehouse, we just went outside the car and just stay there seeing what was happening. It was almost 1 minute long when we started thinking Ok, when it's going to stop. Then it started getting worse, we saw a flash in the sky (not sure what it was yet...we don't have thunders and that kind of stuff in Lima...I've heard it's some kind of energy that gets free on the earthquakes) followed by a general blackout...That's when we really started worrying about the magnitude of this earthquake...It continues shaking harder and that's when I (Efrain) thought about my girlfriend who was working at the 13th floor of a building...Then after 1 minute, it finally shuts down. I tried calling my parents and my girlfriend to see if they were fine and all the phone lines were death...We couldn't get in touch until I went to my house and to my gf's house...I hated this non-communication moment and the peruvian president it's already asking to improve the communications for this kind of events. Well, everything is fine and thank god for that...Peru is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, so we never know when something like this could happen, but we have to be ready next time.
